5,000 Melting Ice Sculptures Remember The Victims Of WWI

I was one of the volunteers who helped make the 5,000 figures. There was a team of roughly a dozen people + Nele & her small team & it took us 2 weeks to make them all. They had all melted in less than an hour from the start of the performance. p.s. despite what the author of this piece says there was no 'red figure that seemed to drip a trail of blood down the steps.' I should know - I was there. p.s. one of the most fantastic experiences I've ever had.
