Candice C. Cusic is a Chicago-based, internationally award-winning photographer, former Chicago Tribune photojournalist, and founder of The See Hear Love Project™—a documentary storytelling project giving shelter and rescue animals the opportunity to share their own stories through animal communication, portraiture, and film. Named Best Pet Photographer in Chicago, Candice spent 11 years as a staff photojournalist at the Chicago Tribune and was part of its Pulitzer Prize-winning team. Her work is rooted in one belief: every animal deserves to be seen, heard, and remembered.
