YES! I photograph lots of senior dogs. People put those poor buggers through hell trying to get another week, another month, another (probably not!) year. Read 'Being Mortal' by Atul Gawande - we do the same to grandpa when HE can't talk either - so sad. And, people come in after spending tens of thousands (or going that far in debt) on their aged pet and don't have the money for fine art portraits to remember them by for decades to come (just bills to remember them by for years to come).

I once picked up a woman whose car had broken down in our rural area (where people help each other). She needed a ride to work, about a mile away. I asked what she did. She said she managed the dancers at a little bar in Boring, Oregon. (true story - that's where I live). I asked how many girls she managed. She said around 100 or so. I about threw up. All that misery and degradation . . . sigh. : - (

But, he's past his hard hunting days, so now it's hunting for dad around the house to take him out for a gentle stroll.

Tapering off my zanax prescription. I didn't realize how much of a fog I was in until I quit, and after 10 years on it I realized it was making my anxiety worse. Proud to say I haven't touch any in 2 years.
