So that's stop the car, set up wheelchair, get in wheelchair, move bikes that shouldn't be there in the first place, get back in car, fold up wheelchair, park, unfold wheelchair, get in wheelchair, go about my business as I should have been able to anyway. Sadly "just move it" isn't so simple for disabled people.

It's very easy to blame people for living as a criminal, but the majority of the time these people have been pushed to the limits by a corrupt system that leaves them to rot at the very bottom of the pack. I've managed to avoid it, but only a few minor changes to my circumstances could have put me in a very different position. It's not the case for all criminals, but less blame and more help would make a big difference.

As a nutrition graduate I can actually understand both sides of the argument here. If the picture at the top is of the girl in question, then she is of a perfectly healthy weight. Sudden growth spurts are very common at that age, and as puberty progresses women develop fat stores which prepares them for pregnancy at a later date. Bone density also increases with physical activity, as does muscle mass, which impacts weight. Sudden weight gain is not abnormal, particularly with gains in height. Health practitioners sometimes need to question weight; I've even had my own weight flagged when I gained suddenly. However, there is a sensitive way of asking appropriately, and with girls in particular (who are very susceptible and impressionable at that age) care should be taken to emphasise the fact that growth spurts are normal, and that puberty isn't about linear weight gain. That nurse could have handled it WAY better.

You have to threaten to arrest them? How about give them the information they need about what is happening with their loved one and what is going to be done, and maybe prepare them for going down to a hospital morgue where they will be able to see their loved one. Fact is, he's just said that dead gangsters don't elicit tears. It's part of doing business. Are we supposed to believe they care who did the killing if they don't care about who got killed? Then threatening to arrest shocked and bereaved relatives? I get that being a cop in gang land must be dangerous and difficult in the extreme, but once you stop caring about people, ALL the people, it's time to stop being a cop.

It was bad. They managed to recover the tooth and glue it back in with medical glue in the end, but it was a little wobbly afterwards.
