That's their guard hairs. The outer layer of a wolf (or wolfdog in the case of the ones I post) is made of keratin, like fingernails. makes them extremely water proof. Its the under coat that is soft and fluffy, which provides them with insulation. The more dog they have in them, the softer their fur is likely to be. So Lyra here is about 97% wolf, so she has those stiff guard hairs. Luna, is only 27% and is very soft to the touch.

I can never comment directly on your image posts because BP hides them and disables replies, so I'm just going to gush here about how much I love and appreciate you sharing your puppers with all of us. I am obviously a huge fan of wolves in general (being one myself), so it brings me such joy to see your pics. However, I had the honor of meeting a wolf at a rescue when I was a teenager, and was very surprised at how not-soft they are. Please tell your wolves that I demand that they be more soft XD

We only notice when things go wrong. I guarantee that all of the people complaining have had correct orders also picked by men. I also guarantee that some of them have had f**k-ups done by women but that hasn't fed into the "men are incompetent at looking for things" narrative so it also goes unreported. This is not a gendered issue. People being paid minimum wage with little training or supervision are going to be unmotivated and unprofessional.

These are bad. Bad quality photos and not funny or clever.

Isn't this the ending to Little Shop of Horrors?

He had all the knowledge and connections. He probably also had health insurance. He clearly had tools to flip furniture. Def not a realistic attempt at starting with zero dollars.

Yes, they are that out of touch. OK, respect to him for making some money and also for admitting defeat, but oddly enough other people also constantly suffer setbacks and problems so don't achieve their goals. Somehow this is just seen as a 'lack of willpower' or 'being too stupid' rather than 'that's what real life is like'.

This is my first time meeting Sayen, before I started volunteering. He took an immediate liking to me. Sayen is one of the wolfdogs at Howling Woods Farm, a sanctuary in NJ. For 30 bucks a person, you get about an hour tour and meet around 10 or so wolfdogs, in groups of 2 to 3 at a time. I'm actually now one of the tour guides there. Sayen, shown here, is about 66 percent wolf, making him a mid content. The lowest on the farm is about 27 percent, and they range all the way up to about 97 percent.

“But i went to america once and i ate only out of trash cans and the food was awful!”

Every comment: Either “nuh uh” or “we have that too”. Exhausting negativity.
