I was standing in line at the checkout and in a really foul mood (autistic me does not do well with bright lights and crowds). I got irrationally annoyed at the old man in front of me merely because he happened to be between me and the exit (I didn't say anything; just felt annoyed). Then he dropped his change. I picked it up for him and he said oh thankyou - he couldn't have done that because he can't bend over. Day instantly made for me too.

For clarification: one troop leader was apparently concerned about her disabilities when her parents asked questions about how her disabilities would be accommodated by the troop. (They haven't said what those disabilities are.) Obviously, that's bad, but the caption makes it sound like multiple troops got together and refused admittance.

If it's urgent then they work pretty fast in my experience. When I went to my GP with symptoms that could have indicated bowel cancer, had a blood test on a Friday at the end of October, called into A&E the next day, kept in overnight for treatment, had multiple follow up tests over the next month, diagnosed with Coeliac disease by December.

I remember going on a trip to the Czech Republic, with my cousin, years ago. I paid for our plane tickets and then she paid for the hire car. We split other costs and I was vaguely keeping track of what we both spent to make sure it was "fair". But my cousin KEPT saying that we needed to sit down and add it all up. I reassured her I was keeping track but no, as soon as we got back, she insisted on going through each expenditure, price by price. At the end she laughed in an embarrassed way and said "Well, I owe you £12.50p" and then GOT HER PURSE out. I just said "Don't worry about it." She was stunned I didn't care about the £12.50. She earned twice as much as I did. I'm certain she thought that I owed her money and was shocked when it turned out I didn't.

"An English book" is pretty vague, but if they mean "a book that a student who studies English literature might read" then... Well yeah. Many books are created as entertainment but also studied in college. Authors create a story to be enjoyed by anyone. Maths is not used in the same way.
