Pandas are actually doing quite well right now. The main reason that they were endangered was deforestation and habitat loss, and China is working to undo that, and recently announced that they are working to make a reserve three times the size of Yellowstone to connect a lot of the fragmented populations and give them room to recover. (Also, pandas are not bad at mating in the wild. They struggle in captivity because they aren't able to learn how from their parents and the captive environment is just not conducive to their mating practices.)

Many people (including my sister) are seriously affected by certain perfumes (especially in enclosed areas like planes), and they can trigger, Asthma, Panic Attacks, Migraines, as well as many other things. Very few people (if any) have a serious medical reaction to body odor. I agree that it's preferable if people don't stick, but just showering and using deodorant should be well enough.
