It all started with A4 paper and HB pencils. As a child I was often impressed by how beautiful the world around me was. The urge to capture this beautiful world and show the people around me what I saw was actually there from the beginning. If I remember correctly, I was about eleven years old when I was first introduced to the camera. Of course it was a simple compact camera with ridiculous quality, but I had fun with it. I sometimes said that I wanted to be a photographer, but of course one of the two parents always says: “Just dream on.” Strangely enough, I took the sarcastic comment as advice and continued studying photography.

No, I shot the photos myself. Sometimes at the same day, but sometimes even years apart, and edited them in Photoshop.
