yeah, some slurs need context. queer is a slur ( i am able to say it in both contexts; i myself am panromantic/asexual/genderfluid. ) but only really if you say "damn queers!" or using it in an offensive context. saying "i'm queer." does not count as it being used as a slur. ( i cant say the r slur in offensive context. i am an able person . ) the r-slur is only offensive when said like "you're r-ed!" but saying "they are mentally r******d." ( in a non-offensive context ) should not be considered a slur. please do not downvote me for this sob
