I trained as a biochemist and worked for many years as a medical writer before finally succumbing to the pull of the thread and becoming a fibre artist. I work in crochet, needle-felt, wire and anything else that seems useful. I'm pretty obsessed with making birds but tell myself I can stop any time I want...

Aww, thank you! I so love making them!
Hi - I make them to my own design with some notes to remind me how I did each one. So not 'proper' patterns!
