You can get so many things for babies second hand, especially clothes, they outgrow them so fast, they're practically still brand new before they don't fit in them anymore. (unless they're too stained to use used). Use cloth diapers, cheaper than disposable. Washcloths instead of disposable wipes. Ok, I'll go sit down somewhere.

I don't put my glasses on for the early hours toilet jaunt. And maybe because I'm a man, but I probably wouldn't put them on to check on a child because "still there, still alive" would be my criteria. I didn't have a nightlight as a child, I wanted to make friends with the monsters. Little buggers are shy, I'm in my 50s and still waiting.

I hoped 20 years ago social media would provide an avenue for this kind of democratization. We saw what happened instead. Maybe it took some time and the next generation for us to finally use it for good. But we've never been able to rally millions around a single economic private sector cause. If this works what's to stop the next influencer from rallying dozens of millions of people into a co-op health insurance company? Unions could not maintain the middle class by standing up to the economic clout of the investment class...this model freezes out the investment class.

I think one of the rare times I landed a good comeback was when I was a kid. My dad rarely got frustrated or mad at me, but I remember one time he did because I was being snarky. He said to me, "Don't be a smartáss!" I wittily and immediately replied, "I wouldn't have to be a smartáss if you weren't being a dumbáss!" He gave me a stern look, but couldn't hold it, and started laughing XD I remember that one to this day!
