Mom's been gone 25 years. If I called, evil sister would answer, and be nasty to me. I have no idea if he would even remember who i was, or remember i moved 400 miles away, would ask why i don't visit anymore (because every time i did it was to derision). The nightmares have mostly stopped. But everytime someone brings him up to me, they start again. It's best I don't call. He's got other daughters to dote over him. Thank you for your concern.

I'm sorry that your father treated you this way! My own father is an a*****e POS, so I understand where you are coming from. If you can, absolutely call your parents! I feel like sometime people don't notice time slip away. My mom told me about how when she left Morocco to go study in Belgium she hadn't realised that the amount of times she would see her own mom would be so limited

We may not have all the info here. This might just be a temporary fix to get the tent through overnight, because maintenance has found an installation issue (such as size of unit vs size of window. etc), and needs to gather the supplies necessary to install the unit securely in the window. Not all maintenance staff are useless, many take pride in their work and don’t want to do it half-assed.

I recently read about a pair of brothers (or something like that) who both won with a Lottery scratch off. One brother won several hundred thousand dollars, so was offered the photoshoot with the big check; and the other brother, who won less than $10, thought it would be hilarious to get his winnings on a big check too and have them take the picture together. They both seem pretty pleased with themselves in the photo!

Not directed at you, Rodney, but to clueless single men: Go outside your male bubble, clean up your act, and take up a skill like sewing or cooking which you will be able to use in your everyday life while you’re still single, then enroll in a class for it. Believe me as a woman married to a man who can cook and is good at it, skills like that are aphrodisiacs. Then practice cleaning your house (and your body and clothing), because no woman wants to be with a man who stinks and lives like a pig, while expecting her to clean up after his nasty self.
