What a touching project! Maple Paw Lane feels so much more authentic than a typical Christmas film because you embrace the muddy, chaotic side of the holidays rather than attempting to make everything look flawless. For me, Grover is the high point; anyone who owns a cat knows that particular "suspicious of everything" look. Although there was a small glitch in the character list where Mrs. Higgins and Gil appeared to be combined, the tale is so amazing that it really doesn't matter. I am forward to hear the album!
