Olesya Alexejewna Parfenyuk is an independent visual artist based in Vienna, Austria. Born in Kiev, Ukraine. Her aim is to visualize ideas by creating unique situations and interesting characters, making these experiences eternal by using her main medium - photography. Visual stories are being told in her very own aesthetic sense. She enjoys integrating fashion elements into her work to create a blend between fashion photography and a narrative. For her personal projects she often asks random people, often strangers who catch her eye, to model for her. Natural light is a very important component in her work. It plays a big role in mood, emotional and conceptual aspect of her photography. In her opinion, natural light gives the work certain sincerity. Since the beginning, being also her own set designer, stylist, MUA, and everything in between in personal projects, she feels comfortable working solo, but shows delightment to work in a team as well. It took me 10 mins to roll those hanging on the wall back and put them back into the package. I am an economical person. The idea for the photos came from my observation on every third person buying a lot of packages at ones. I wasn't in the state of this panic and was rather smirking surprised while trying to understand this behavior (which is indeed being explained by psychologists in many articles on covid-19). That's how the idea came to comment on this sold out toilet paper situation in a humorous manner.

I find them very interesting, I don't get the hate. Not everything should be fluffy funny and cheerful.Everyone has a dark side and if you don't have one you must be a really boring person.
