Frenchies are such an unhealthy breed :( They already have so many issues due to their extreme brachycephalic skull, such as breathing problems, tons of dental issues, and eye/orbital issues, including eyeball proptosis (when the eye pops out of its socket.) They also rarely are able to give birth normally (the misshapen skulls of the puppies get stuck in the birth canal) and have to have a caesarian section just to deliver their puppies. 80% of French Bulldog litters have to be delivered by caesarian section, as the mother dog CANNOT give birth normally. This breed should not exist in its current form, as every single Frenchie lives a life of suffering and pain, to some degree. Frenchies have an EXTREMELY low life expectancy (average 9 years) compared to other dog breeds of similar size.
