I can understand that good photography can be captured with limited equipment. What's weird to me is to compare the "ordinary" person having bad equipment and a professional photographer using top notch equipment. They should give the pro photographer a disadvantage if anything since it's their profession not the other way around. Also, I feel that this article is implying that a professional can magically produce people, children, and flowers out of thin air that somehow doesn't exist in the "ordinary" photos. I really don't think "ordinary" people would purposefully take blurry photos of subjects with no meaning as shown in this article. Why would an "ordinary" person take a blurry photo of a tree stump next to a parking lot, instead of a more engaging and meaningful subject? I think most people's phone picture albums have selfies, friends, flowers, animals, and anything else meaningful enough for them to take a picture of to remember.
