Thank you, I should have explained Alice's condition. She doesn't have the wobbles much, but she has zero depth perception and can get stressed when she can't see Newt or her spud. She's incredibly lucky to have survived at all because she was born in a colony. She came to me as a normal, every day kitten that needed socialising, but I knew what was happening with her pretty soon because I've had a cat previously with the same condition. Alice will always be safe here, we made a deckio specifically so she can be outside safely. She loves watching the cows in the paddock behind the house. We love her.

Never seen the movie, but reading the synopsis I found this: "At the party, Wesley casually brings to Bianca's awareness that she is the DUFF of her friend group—an acronym which stands for Designated Ugly Fat Friend. He explains that the DUFF does not necessarily have to be ugly or fat, it is merely the person in a social group who is less popular, and therefore more accessible, than the others in the group." - this doesn't make it acceptable, but it does show that the movie plot was aware that the titular DUFF was not ugly or fat.

I can't decide how to feel about this. Generally AI is becoming way too powerful and definitely over used. However, if this grandma gets a bit of joy in her world that is becoming darker and more confusing, is it a bad thing.

There was supposed to be a thin layer of fabric underneath when he pulled away the detachable cup part, but it came away with the cup. Oh I have one that really embarrasses me. It was in 9th grade, and I and two of my friends were put in a group to work on some physics activity. I was doing my work, and my friend asked me about my progress. I still don’t know what happened to me at day. It felt like my throat was closing up. I looked straight at her, I tried and failed to say something, and looked back down at my work without saying anything. My friend was bewildered. I, too, was shocked by my behaviour. I don’t know what overcame me. Maybe she thought I was going through something. I was, in fact, not. I am a pretty awkward person but I’m not downright anxious to the level to which it affects my speech.

I used to go to a football class when I was about 6 or 7 years old. My mom dropped me and was walking around the apartment complex. That day, the coach left us early for some reason. I had no idea where my mother was as she could be anywhere at that moment so I was clueless about what to do. Another kid lived in the same building as I did and I thought, from our resulting discussion, that he would drop me so I followed him into the building, into the elevator. Then he got off at his floor and looked at me incredulously when I asked him what would happen to me. I felt betrayed. I wandered around a bit and was on the verge of tears when a friend of my mom found me and took me to her home. I think I did burst into tears at her home. I was a very emotional child. From there I found my way home just fine.

When I was in 9th grade, I was feeding the stray cats in my apartment. Some dude a year older than me approached me. I had a theory this dude fancied me (some other things happened previously that led me to this conclusion). He tried to talk to me but the entire (short) conversation was so awkward. I accidentally stepped on a stray cat’s paw and the poor thing squeaked in pain and flinched. (Sorry!) He thought he scared the cat and he apologised to me. He asked for my name, and I, being an entirely deaf and socially awkward fool, I had to ask him to repeat it the question. (He was standing a bit far away). I said something in response, and I guess he didn’t understand a word because of my American accent and my feeble voice. And so the awkwardness went on. I won’t go into all the details now. But yeah, that was some conversation.

I was in dance class once. I yawned. At the same time I hiccuped. The result was some horrible amalgamation that sounded like I was croaking. I got a few odd looks for sure.

That happened to me. I was 8 or 9 years old, maybe, and we were playing football and for some reason we stopped playing and were discussing something. The ball was near me. I, an utter genius, thought I would carefully bring the ball away from the opposite team’s goal. Why? I don’t know. But I tried. I accidentally shot the ball into the goal instead and people were mad at me.
