Just some basic stats, and I'm basing this on a 2 second Google search. Men do indeed commit more violence against each other than against women, that's a given. But the point is, it's men committing the violence. In homicides alone worldwide men account for 95% of all convictions. NINETY FIVE. And "between 25 and 38% of women experience some sort of violence perpetrated by male partners (WHO, 2013a). In some regions of the world, as high as 66% of women report physical and/or s*xual violence victimization perpetrated by male partners at some point in their lives."
