We're VistulArt, a Warsaw-based artistic duo.We create artworks in a little-known avant-garde technique of colorful photorealistic string art. We Are A Couple Creating Unconventional Works "Painted" Only With Sewing Thread (36 Pics)

So, we always start by making an exact design of the thread painting we're going to form. In a computer program (we created ourselves), line by line, we draw a very detailed design containing every single one of over a dozen thousand pieces of thread. Only when we are satisfied can we start winding the thread according to the design.
