Patrick Parenteau is a multidisciplinary artist and researcher born in Montreal (QC) Canada. The short film, Les Petits Diables (The Little Devils) is his first venture into the short film industry. As a visual effects artist he has worked for more than 20 years in the fields of cinema, television and video game. As a researcher he studies the practice of visual effect artists in the industry. His passion for travel took him to many countries around the world and after a four-year stay in Vancouver he returned to his hometown. He holds a Master of Arts from the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi, a professional diploma in 3D animation and a college diploma in industrial design.
