To answer your question: yes vegans breastfeed. There are many reasons to go vegan, and a lot of people who choose to live plant based have looked at scientific facts that prove that we are herbivores. Since we are mammals, breastfeeding is in our nature. However consuming milk from other species like cows, goats, sheep, dogs, camels, cats and bears obviously isn't.

I think this post should delete the word vegan from the title, since the discussion is completely about the vaccines.

What a ridiculous comment to make - a mother's milk is for her child - vegans have no problem with this - the problem is tearing a calf away from its mother and forcing the cow to produce milk for humans when it is intended for her own baby. Educate yourself before making stupid comments!!

Veganism is abstaining from all animal products. The question or notion, that humans are decendents of animals is a rather philosophical one in this context and doesn't really matter here. Vegans don't drink milk from animals (it's not about the "milk from living things" at all, breastfeeding is totally fine.
