The same thing happens to me. My advice would be to try listening to music during the yelling. Obviously, not everything works for everyone, but it helps me a lot to block out the noise :)

8th grade band. This one percussionist would spend the entire class searching the back for whatever he could find, and would ask the teacher if he could eat it. He found stuff like a crayon and valve oil, and we had some weird discussions about what his poop would look like.
