In this post, I demonstrate the how I paint on silk to create breathtaking images of the life under the Caribbean Sea. The concept is first laid out as a line sketch on paper, then the silk is mounted onto the paper so that the wax resist can be hand traced after which the silk is then suspended in a stretcher frame to be painted.
