Funny comments are entertaining, but what netizens nowadays are even more entertained by is when someone gets ratioed in the comment section. People post nonsense all the time, but there’s something undescribably satisfying when you see a top comment that has way more upvotes than the original post — you know it’s going to be good.
One particular account does it exceptionally well. It’s the (infamous?) “Xavier” persona that roasts people in comment sections. We’ve compiled the funniest posts from the subreddit that collects the jokes and comments made by “Xavier” and sometimes even roasts “him” back. Check out the funniest posts from their collection and have a good chuckle in the meantime.

If you’re not chronically online, you might be having a hard time understanding who Xavier is and why he seems to be in every comment section on the Internet. According to fellow netizens, Xavier has had many iterations. One of the first meme pages to use the same profile picture was Pakalu Papito, a sarcastic account that makes fun of people’s posts, similar to what you see on this list.
Netizens speculate that the person in the photos on these accounts is Indian technician Om Prakash, a faculty member at IIT Kanpur, but we’ll probably never know whether that’s true. According to Know Your Meme, Pakalu Papito’s first post was made in 2013, and read “Hello Twitter, I’m single.” By 2015, the account had achieved enormous success with its use of puns and online humor, garnering a whopping 700,000 followers.
According to some netizens, Xavier is just one of the many copycats of Pakalu Papito; others think the account just changed its name to “Xavier.” The difference is that this one has probably been the most successful. In 2018, Pakalu Papito’s Twitter account was suspended. Then, in 2023, it was resurrected in 2023 as Xavier.
After announcing his comeback, Xavier also updated his followers about where he’s been. “I have been featured on all major meme pages, followed back by many celebrities (not Sonam Bajwa yet ), got some [crazy] online friends, [am] about to practice law in [a renowned] law firm of India from July onwards. Identity reveal will remain a question!” Is it just a troll or a real person telling the truth? We’ll probably never know.
A joke I heard. There was a bad flood and a man sat on his roof praying to god to save him. A boat speeds up and the driver tells the man to get in but the man replied “no no, god will save me,” and the boater left. Flood is getting higher and the man is now on top of his chimney and is again praying to god to save him. A helicopter arrives and they try to rescue him but he said “no no, god will save me.” The flood rises the man goes to heaven and there asks why god didn’t save him. God replied “what do you mean? I sent a boat and a helicopter.”
Interestingly, Bored Panda has had some contact with the person behind the Facebook and Instagram meme pages under the Xavier eponym. Back in 2023, the account owner chatted with us and claimed to be the original Xavier. They said they don’t mind all the copycats, as long as their memes and posts aren’t insulting, dirty, or bigoted.
“I want my memes to be clean and simple, and I don’t want myself to be associated with someone who objectifies people on the basis of color, gender, and sexual preferences,” the creator said. “When I created the page, I was expecting 50K followers in a month, which is a very good figure in itself, but by the grace of God, the page reached around 350K followers in the first month itself. Everyone loved to see Xavier’s viewpoint on things.”
In a more recent interview, the creator behind “Xavier” told Bored Panda their secret behind coming up with witty replies. “Generally, the best comments come to my mind when I’m not trying.” The curator of the page also added that they don’t have a stash of comebacks prepared in advance. “It's just the right flow and right timing, catching nice trends.”
The creator was proud of the iconic internet meme that they created and hoped that the pages would live on for a long time. “‘Xavier’ has become an idea, and I want this idea to live forever,” the person told Bored Panda in 2023.
The meme pages have also had a positive effect on their personal life. “‘Xavier’ has given me a huge self boost and I absolutely love making people happy and love receiving messages, which inspire me to do more and deliver quality content,” they added.

Plan C is what my friend did. But to be safe, two of his daughters became doctors.
Given the responses here I was wondering if they still sale this toy (you know maybe you have to be a certain age to get it). But I looked and they still sale them, but I guess they aren't very popular. The ones found have LEDs in them, certainly didn't have that when I was a kid.
