True love is hard to find and when you finally meet the man or woman of your dreams, you should hang onto them for dear life. But too often, perfectly good relationships fall to pieces because of one partner’s fragile ego. Case in point: a man who says he left his wife and kids because he couldn’t handle the fact she was the breadwinner.

If this story is even true (which I highly doubt), OP is going to bail again the second that some other insecurity hits him, like middle age, or weight gain, or a minor health crisis like high blood pressure. He'll convince himself that he "isn't good enough" for his wife and kids and "needs to leave" in order to "find/fix himself". He ditched his three young children and the woman he insists is his soulmate (and that he loved soooo much throughout the YEARS of separation) all because he didn't feel like he was Mr. Manly Man and the main breadwinner? Yeah, the second he gets a few gray hairs in his 40s, he's going to ditch his family again, because he still hasn't fixed the root of the problem... which is himself.
