I’ve always been a bit quirky—the quiet loner who spends most of her time in her head. I often giggle at my silly thoughts. Words, phrases, and everyday objects spark quirky imaginings in my mind.
I’ve always loved playing with words and, as a child, remember rearranging words when talking, speaking in different accents, and being fascinated by phrases and puns.
Art was a large part of my childhood, my education, and now my career as an art teacher. I draw, paint, carve stamps, sew throughout the year. When we were isolating during the pandemic, I had to create an online learning program that used common art materials. This reignited my love for drawing and colored pencils!
