I never did these in the first place because I saw how it affected patients at my hospital:
* Donorcycles (worst injuries, worst outcomes)
* Chiropractor (strokes, neurological issues)
* Detox cleanses (gimmicks that might ruin your liver/kidneys)
* Living far away from a trauma centre (affects treatment options and independence post-discharge)
* Unnecessary pain medication
No smoking, no d***s, no alcohol. Daily, moderate-intense exercise that I work into all areas of my life, I.e. walking desk, squats while watching videos, etc. Sunscreen all the time, and hat/protective clothing outdoors. Also, no s*x with someone unless they've had a recent STD screen.
If you don't look after yourself, you'll end up losing years/decades of your life. I, for one, plan on maintaining my health and independence for as long as possible to maximise my video gaming lmao.
