We've come too far to not go any further. That's the message many feminists are screaming as they take to the internet to call out patriarchy, misogyny, sexism, male privilege and general pathetic behavior. And often, they aren't writing long, detailed scholarly posts.

There are a bunch of social media accounts dedicated to slamming all that's wrong with society today. One of them goes by the name This is feminist, bro and the content is bound to get certain people hot under the collar. The page has almost 100,000 followers. It's a wall of punchy posts and hard-hitting memes poking holes in the belief that women are "less-than."

Bored Panda has put together a list of the best for you to scroll through while that other crowd mutters, "not all men!" Feel free to share it with your feminist, and non-feminist friends alike. Don't forget to upvote your favorites...

Everyone, regardless of their gender, should have equal rights and opportunities. That’s feminism in a nutshell. The movement began in the 1800s when women fought for the right to vote, own property and receive education. Today, feminism looks different.

Modern feminism focuses on the belief in the equality of people of all genders, and dismantling anything and everything that stands in the way of gender inequality.

“These inequalities could be pay inequality, gender-based health care inaccessibility, rigid social expectations, or gender-based violence which still impact people everywhere to this day,” explains ABC News.

Many argue that historically, feminism focused primarily on the struggles of white, middle-class women, despite many black women being part of the movement. These women of color still faced barriers even after important feminist victories

More recently, feminists are fighting not just for women, but for those who were previously excluded from the movement, like women of color and gender diverse people.

“Our gender, our race, disability, class, sexuality, and more – all of these pieces of ourselves generate different lived experiences and also help us understand that no one of us is just one thing,” says Diana Duarte, the Director of Policy and Strategic Engagement at MADRE, a feminist group. “This inclusive vision is a powerful and integral part of feminism.”

While the feminist movement has celebrated some major wins, we aren't anywhere near to seeing proper gender equality. In fact, The United Nation estimates that, without proper investment, this could take almost 300 more years to achieve.

According to Global Citizen, more than 120 million girls don't have access to education, and of the 690 million people who are food insecure around the world, 60% are women and girls.

Global Citizen's experts add that women-owned businesses receive less than 1% of global procurement spending. And the United Nations revealed in September 2023 that for each dollar men earn globally, women earn just 51 cents.

"Women also spend three times as many hours on unpaid domestic and care work as men," notes Global Citizen's website.

"Ultimately," notes the site, "this creates a better world for all people regardless of their background or identity."

More like a working mother and/or wife at work means more time off requests for sick kids, calls from the school and appts, no time for overtime and not available to be on call. Working mothers are the hated coworkers everyone gossips and complains about being "flaky" and "privileged". Single, working mothers are the ones being asked "who's taking care of the kids while you're at work?" because single mothers can't be trusted to be responsible employees and parents. Single dads are viewed as the heroes and trustworthy. They got custody over the default mother, so the mom must have done something really heinous to lose custody. While dad is the most responsible. There's also the notion a single mom is purposely depriving her kids of a stable life with a biological father figure. I never hear single dads accused of depriving his kids of a stable life with a biological mother figure. /js

Preach. Crushes on older people is part of growing up, but just because a 15-year-old has a starry-eyed crush on a someone older than them (by at least a year or two) doesn't mean that they are emotionally or cognitively developed enough to actually cope with all that séx and/or a romantic relationship involves. Their crush is not a permission slip to take advantage of them "because they started it"; you're the more mature one, it's on you to act like it and shut it down as kindly but firmly as possible.

I don't swim much any more, but I long ago gave up trying to find swimwear that hid all of my "gross" parts (fat stomach, flat bútt, large bréasts) that I wear rashguard stuff into the water these days - basically pants and long-sleeved shirts made for surfers. They cover up ALL the unsightly bits! I know I don't HAVE to wear those things to go to the beach or into a pool and that I shouldn't care that I'm fat, but honestly, I've spent my whole life being broken down for my appearance (mostly by other females, sadly) that my brain wants me to cover myself up, even though I know I don't have to. It kind of súcks. I guess the other benefit of the rashguard coverup stuff is that it helps protect my pasty white skin from the sun, though XD

XD It's funny because my older family members were very traditional Hispanics and god help you if you were a girl in my family who had séx and got pregnant as a teen/while unmarried. You'd be literally excommunicated from the family (happened to one of my cousins.) You were told in my family that only girls who are slúts have séx before marriage. So my great-aunt was celebrating me being a "grown woman" at 11 because I was menstruating, but if I'd actually done the deed that gets you pregnant, I'd instantly be a slút XD

How is "everyone" going to know that she's making more than he is unless he's going around acting all b*tt-hurt about it?

There's great freedom in acknowledging the ideal and expectation, then just tossing it away and being yourself. This is me. This is the body I live in. Accept me as I am or leave. Very freeing, very self-accepting. Very anti-capitalist.

Correct, the majority are not. It is the few that we need to be wary of. And why should we be wary? Even as a pensioner I'm always wary. We should not need to be.

The "two extra pumps" implies otherwise very unsafe attitudes from the author.

It is cute that he was that thoughtful. It is not cute that her expectation that compliments from women are more genuine is so understandable.

"Prostitute" looks to mean independent woman who can and does take care of herself, does what she likes, and doesn't care about or center men's needs or wants. I'm one then, always have been, and so proud of it. It is just so important to reclaim allegedly "insulting" words. Like b!tch: boys I'm taking charge here, or babe in total control of herself. Choose either, I like both. I've said this to men before. Then told them to close their mouths before a fly gets in.

When I was a teenager, I did all of the dishes and cleaned the whole kitchen after dinner, along with various other chores. I asked my mom once if my nephew, a year older than me and living with us, could clean the kitchen sometimes. He laughed and said "No, the kitchen is a woman's job" and nothing changed. This wasn't years and years ago, I'm 19. (My nephew is... an interesting person. He treats his longterm girlfreind very well, but man does he say shit. I think he just does it to get a reaction, but who knows with him.)

Mmmkay, so sit with that emotion, then find ways to be better, and help other men be better. Good deal, you're getting in touch with some emotions. It's a start.

What's even more radical is again, realizing this is one way of looking at the world, and just tossing it in the garbage. Be the change you want to see. Micro-feminist aggressions every day, all day, everywhere possible. Be pro-life: your own life, your own way, on your terms, asss much as possible for as long as you live. Refuse to rot. Bloom where you are, and let your life force be a middle finger to all of patriarchy.
