Forza Horizon 6 Series 4 mostly centers on the Horizon Mascot Party Festival Playlist, but the Aug. 10 update brought a decent amount of permanent content alongside the reward cars: sign language support for cinematics, a temporary Time Attack Circuit, 47 EventLab props, and fixes for several bugs that have survived since launch.
The patch was released on Aug. 10 across XBOX Series X|S, the XBOX app on PC, and Steam, while the Horizon Mascot Party content goes live on Aug. 13. ASL and BSL support added to Forza Horizon 6
Cinematics can now be accompanied by an American Sign Language or British Sign Language interpreter, shown in a picture-in-picture window. Both options can be enabled in the Accessibility menu, and the window itself is adjustable: you can reposition the interpreter on the screen and change the background color behind them.
Forza Horizon 5 already had this feature, which made its absence from the launch version of Forza Horizon 6 all the more peculiar. Four Series in, we’ve finally caught up.
Screen Reader users get three fixes in the same patch. Wheelspin prize names were missing, descriptions on the What’s Next? screen were cut short, and the Screen Reader could stop working entirely after finishing the ANNA tutorial. All three problems are now gone.
Edamame Time Attack Circuit added to the map
The Edamame Time Attack Circuit is the new temporary lap-time location, decorated for the Horizon Mascot Party theme and available only while Series 4 runs, from Aug. 13 to Sept. 10. It works like every other Time Attack Circuit around Japan: set a lap, then measure it against your Convoy, your next rival, and the global top three. Leaderboards reset with each new season, keep in mind. The circuit is located inside the Horizon Stadium.
The seasonal extras around it include a limited-time Shimanoyama Heat collectible, a Dango outfit, two player badges, and three new Car Horns: Fus-Roh-Dah, Mascot, and Pinball Machine.
EventLab gets 47 new props
EventLab creators receive one of the larger additions in Series 4, with 47 new props joining the catalog. Most follow the mascot theme: nine flags, nine billboards, nine cutouts, nine barriers, and an inflatable Curry Rice mascot.
The more generally useful pieces are four Pit Garage variations, a bike, a covered scooter, a sports motorbike, a plastic crate, a plastic container, and a plant box, along with seasonal summer variants of existing props. Everything works in EventLab, and the compatible props are also available for Customizable Garages and Estates.
You can now also delete locally saved EventLab events. It doesn’t sound like much until you’ve accumulated a pile of old test routes clogging up your local list, at which point it becomes one of the better changes in the patch.
Garage and livery bugs have been fixed
The Aug. 10 patch removes the incorrect “Garage Full” warning that could appear after receiving a new Car Pass vehicle. A related bug that prevented players from removing cars once the garage was actually full has been fixed as well.
Creative Hub received two livery fixes. Buying a vehicle from a Car Meet no longer incorrectly unlocks its livery, and thumbnails for cars using custom liveries should now load properly.
Several car and visual problems are gone
The 1972 Nissan Patrol and 2022 Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica no longer come to a complete stop after hitting certain kerbs. Playground Games also fixed an incorrect power-to-weight ratio calculation and added new stock exhaust audio for the 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio.
A few more specific visual issues have been resolved, too. The aftermarket 1990 Subaru Legacy RS loads its wheels correctly, painting the 1994 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta no longer puts strange dents into the bodywork, and raindrops should stop appearing inside several cars when using cockpit or dashboard cameras.
Chapter 6 of the Moto Auto Zine Stories, Shibuya Showstopper, can now be completed without owning the Yellow Wristband.
