On Tuesday, the Forest Dept. captured and relocated a sloth bear that had been straying into human settlements in the Nilgiris. A cage was placed and the Rapid Response Team monitored the animal. The bear was released in good health in the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve after being checked for injuries.
