A year after the debut of the "Beyond The Flavours" campaign in collaboration with celebrated chef Mauro Colagreco, Penfolds has passed the baton to Potong's executive chef Pichaya "Pam" Utharntharm.

Though winemakers will argue that the terroir of where the grapes are grown creates distinct flavour and character of a certain wine, Penfolds begs to differ. The brand offers an alternative way to appreciate terroir through a blend of carefully-sourced grapes from different regions, known as "House Style".

Penfolds maker Treasury Wine Estates' solid profit increase wasn't enough to pacify the market, with shares plunging into the red after missing expectations.

Following success in Bangkok, Sydney and Los Angeles earlier this year, Venture Beyond by Australian winemaker Penfolds recently made its way to Singapore to offer a futuristic wine experience through a series of interactive digital installations, add-on masterclasses and live performances under the theme of space exploration.

Last week marked a ground-breaking new chapter in winemaking.
