35 Entitled People Who Picked The Worst Possible Time To Make Demands

Can fully relate. We had an accident on holiday, which led to my husband being medivaced out. (Good travel insurance is a must!). We left Greece about 11am on a flight, changed planes in Vienna, and got into Heathrow about 10pm. Then a long ambulance journey up to Lancashire. We got into the Royal Blackburn Hospital about 4 in the morning, the staff were so wonderful. As they were settling my husband in a side ward to sleep until the consultant got in, this woman appeared and asked where her tea was. She took one look at me and left. I have resting b***h face at the best of times, hod knows what I looked like then! Anyway, the NHS got him well again, wonderful people.

i worked at store, this was before there selfscanning mind you. The fire alarm had gone off and it was heavy smoke, like you cant see in front of you. We were evaluating and people tryed get in to the store because "they would be fast only need milk"... It was baffeling that though we would or wanted to leave a cashier in there to due smoke poisoning.

It's actually plausible. Especially in a small town. Cops (legally) can't arrest someone purely on suspicion, they have to have evidence. Nowadays they'd have dashcam footage, which probably would have caught a shot of the driver during the chase. Keep in mind, cops often like to go fast, and often ride dirtbikes and stuff in their off time, so they also might have been reluctant to arrest him.for something they also do (excessive speeding).

Not me, of course, but a guy I, um, used to know did the same kind of thing with his expired year registration sticker. He carefully cut around the numbers on the old year sticker and fashioned the current year numeral and stuck the pieces back on carefully. It passed casual inspection, like from the distance a cop in a cop car would be checking the plate. The guy only did it because times were financially lean, he had a large family to support, and money was tight. After about a month or maybe two he could then afford to actually pay for new registration. And he never did it again. True story. I, uh, you know, happen to know this guy very personally. 😉

Sounds like my childhood home, where my mother and sister still live. There are four cameras overlooking the front yard/sidewalk/street, two overlooking the backyard, one in the garage, and over a dozen in the house itself, at least one in every room. I joke it's like living in a gúlag, except it's not really funny. Sometimes my sister will ask me to help them with something while they're away for the weekend and I go into the house knowing I'm on camera every second I'm inside. It's a very, very weird and gross feeling.
