It was a reference to Eyjafjallajökull, by all means. The tourist in question could not remember the oversimplified name, I just never corrected them as the information would obviously just fly over their heads. I did not know about I18N! That is a great tidbit of information right there. I'm glad your Eyjafjallajökull eruption experience was a generally positive one. It was fun in Iceland - the domestic flights were still running because the wind moved all the ash to continental Europe :) In any case, good eye for detail!

These people are all American... I can just feel it, I work in American retail and health care... yes we are THIS dumb, look at what our social system looks like. Also is any other country interested in adopting a lovely American couple (NOT dumb, but slightly socially awkward) with 2 tea cup humans, 1 fur child and excellent (almost Canadian like) manners? Will work for food and affordable health care

This jobs should be more recognized like you have to do a lot of things, like predict the weather, explain why waterfalls are wet, and tell a storm to calm down because it is annoying the customers. You never know what to expect at this type of jobs.
