Ace, as someone who occasionally reads "romantasy" (romance+fantasy) novels, I am sad to report that the "monster romance" genre has become very, VERY popular lately XD And a lot of those novels are... pretty high on the "spice meter". Most of the books focus on werewolves and other "everyday" monsters, but there are some centaur ones out there. I've read a few (in the name of science) and even though I'm sure their authors had serious intentions at heart when they wrote the books, I cringe-giggled my way through all of the steamy scenes XD
