A woman cut in front of my mom at a bakery when I was maybe 8. My mom didn't say anything, just quietly put her hand on my shoulder. On the way home she said "some people carry so little inside they need to take from others." I still think about that woman every time someone cuts in line. I hope her bread was stale.
