As someone who takes home fragrance seriously, I’ve always got a diffuser on the go. Diffusers come in all shapes and sizes (no really, I’ve even tested one that looks like a disco ball), but they generally fall into two categories: reed and electric.
Reed diffusers use rattan or bamboo sticks to absorb fragrance oil from a bottle and gradually release the scent into the room. You’ll want to flip the sticks every week or so to keep the scent going strong. Meanwhile, electric diffusers gently heat a blend of water and oil, releasing it into the air as a fine mist.
