The Khon Kaen Office of Buddhism has warned a forest temple abbot to refrain from a fire-breathing ritual, after video of him spewing flames from his mouth in front of a crowd was widely shared on social media.
On Friday, Phra Khru Siriratananukul, the ecclesiastical commune-chief of tambon Ban Kho, Khon Kaen Provincial Office of Buddhism director Somporn Chan-ut and local officials all arrived at Wat Pa Sri Na Pang in Muang district.
