BARBADOS: Rahul Dravid is a cautious man. He knows what it is to falter when a game is as good as done. Remember 1997 and the venue where we are here now, Barbados? India failed in the chase of 120 in the fourth innings to lose the series and it still is one of India's most painful losses.
Dravid smiles when reminded of that ahead of India's first Super-8s game against Afghanistan. "Come on, I have had a few good memories of this venue as well, and I live in the present. If you had told me winning here tomorrow (Thursday) will help me change the past as well, I would have been worried. But it doesn't work that way, right?" the outgoing India coach said, settling down for an interaction with the media ahead of India's final practice session before the Afghanistan game.
