UNBELIEVABLE: All twice mucked up gujarat man gets double cut | History Defined

AHMEDABAD: A glitch in an ATM transaction wherein a man's account was debited of Rs 20,000 despite the fact that his first attempt to withdraw Rs 10,000 failed has led to a legal battle between two banks – the Bank of India (BOI) and the State Bank of India (SBI) for an amount of Rs 10,000.

In this case, a retired government employee Dahyabhai Chaudhary has a savings account with BOI in Mehsana town. On July 24, 2018, he went to an SBI ATM to withdraw Rs 10,000. His first transaction failed, and he could withdraw the amount on the second attempt. But an amount of Rs 20,000 was deducted by BOI from his account for two transactions.
