Amy Schumer recently took to Instagram to address comments about her appearance with a powerful message of self-love and empowerment. The comedian and writer, who is currently promoting the second season of her Hulu series 'Life & Beth,' used her platform to advocate for acceptance of one's physical appearance and to raise awareness about endometriosis.
Schumer's Instagram post was inspired by recent remarks made about her face following her appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and The View. Social media trolls flooded the internet with tactless comments about her appearance, with one user even questioning if her face was normally the size it appeared to be. The onslaught of unwarranted remarks prompted Schumer to speak up and share her thoughts.
