The Seattle Seahawks acquired veteran defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris in a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars last week in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick. Robertson-Harris made his Seahawks debut in Sunday’s dominant 34-14 Week 7 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. He was outstanding, proving that general manager John Schneider made a shrewd deal at the deadline.
Robertson-Harris made a season-high five tackles against the Falcons. He recorded one stuff, per ESPN Stats & Info. On this rep, Robertson-Harris completely overwhelms Pro Bowl Falcons left tackle Jake Matthews on a pressure that results in a Derick Hall sack.

Robertson-Harris played a total of 27 snaps, accounting for 37% of Mike Macdonald’s defensive snaps. Dre’Mont Jones, Leonard Williams, Jarran Reed, and Byron Murphy II all out-snapped Robertson-Harris on Sunday. The Seahawks are understandably easing the nine-year pro into their defensive rotation.
Pro Football Focus credited Robertson-Harris with a 68.2 overall defensive grade, his highest of the season. He recorded one pressure (seen above) and scored a 60.6 pass-rushing grade.

The Seahawks clearly needed better depth across their defensive line throughout the three-game losing streak. Robertson-Harris is providing Macdonald’s defense with experience and productivity. The early returns on the Robertson-Harris trade have been outstanding.
