Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appears to be weighing a potential 2028 presidential campaign, saying she expects to confront the decision after the midterm elections.
In an unusually candid interview with The New York Times, the New York Democrat described the approaching decision as potentially a once-in-a-career opportunity. "There's an argument that some make that this is a very unique political window and, oftentimes in politics, you do only get one shot," Ocasio-Cortez said. "Life doesn't wait for you to be ready for things. Sometimes life just makes things ready for you."
