An appeal has gone out to people in Thornhill, Closeburn and the surrounding areas to be on the lookout for a missing greyhound.
Daisy, three, ran away from the garden of holiday home Holmhill Cottage after getting spooked on Monday January 31.
The blue and white greyhound is a nervous dog and people have been asked to check outbuildings and sheds in case she is sheltering in them. Daisy is a nervous dog and won’t respond to human contact and any sightings should be reported to owner Carol Walker or the Lost Dogs Dumfries and Galloway group.
