BENGALURU: Students seeking admission to degree colleges in the state for the upcoming academic year will have to apply to colleges through the Unified University and College Management System (UUCMS), an integrated platform that the government had launched last year.
The candidates have to create a login ID, following which the platform will provide details of all colleges and courses in the state. They can apply to colleges of their choice through the platform. All the details of the students will be automatically fed into the system once the candidates provide their PU/class 12 registration ID. The details available online will include their caste certificates and scholarships, among others.
