INSANE: Arabica coffee closes higher on production concerns in brazil | Rare Historical Photos

September arabica coffee (KCU24) on Thursday closed up +2.00 (+0.89%), and Sep ICE robusta coffee (RMU24) closed down -12 (-0.30%).

Coffee prices Thursday settled mixed.  Arabica coffee garnered support Thursday after coffee cooperative Expocacer said Brazil's coffee farmers are picking smaller-than-usual beans this harvest after coffee trees went through a period of heat and drought that harmed development.  Also, StoneX projected Thursday a global 2024/25 coffee surplus of 2 million to 3 million bags, below the USDA's forecast of 5.6 million bags.
