NARATHIWAT: A pickup carrying army rangers on a supplies run was damaged when a bomb exploded on a rural road in Si Sakhon district on Monday morning, causing no casualties, police said.
The bomb exploded about 7.10am on a road near Ire Kudir, the Moo 4 village in tambon Si Ban Phot. It was carrying members of Ranger Company 4916 returning to their base with food supplies.
The vehicle was damaged. Nobody was hurt.
A bomb disposal team was examining the area, and police were investigating.
