A blaze at a guest house in Southville is being treated as arson by the fire service.
Firefighters were called to a three-storey property on Coronation Road at 4.43pm on Saturday (May 14). They arrived on the scene in four minutes and found a fire on the third floor, spreading into the roof.
In a statement this morning, Avon Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire has been determined to be "deliberate ignition". It's understood the first blaze broke out the first floor and then a second one started in the back garden around half an hour later.
