Meg Lanning and Rachael Haynes' rearguard action has put Australia back on top of the Ashes Test, going to tea at 3-199 on day one in Canberra.

After slumping to 2-4 and 3-43 early, Lanning and Haynes combined for Australia's biggest partnership in a decade with the pair adding 156 since joining at the wicket.
