EXPLAINED: Assam met issues heavy rain thunder squall warning advisory | Vintage Vibes

Assam IMD India Meteorological Department Meghalaya Guwahati Manipur Mizoram Sikkim West Bengal

GUWAHATI: The India Meteorological Department has forecast likely heavy isolated rainfall and thunder squall with wind reaching 50 to 60 kmph and hailstorm over Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur and Mizoram and sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on April 18 and 19.

According to the IMD alert, isolated heavy rainfall is likely to continue over Assam and Meghalaya for the next five days.
