Baker Mayfield has had a remarkable resurgence in his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, leading to significant coaching opportunities for those around him. Mayfield's stellar performance in 2023 played a pivotal role in Dave Canales landing the head coaching position with the Carolina Panthers after just one season as an offensive coordinator. Under the guidance of Liam Coen, Mayfield has continued to excel, with Coen now being considered a top candidate for coaching vacancies this offseason.
The Buccaneers, currently standing at 9-7, are aiming to secure their fourth consecutive NFC South title with a win against the New Orleans Saints. With Mayfield and the offense performing at a high level, Tampa Bay is poised for a deep playoff run, building on their divisional round appearance from last season.
